Finished: Harris Hawk painting

Finally, my Harris hawk painting is done. I think I am going to take a little break from doing any large paintings for awhile! Doing an oil at this size with a wimpy table easel was a challenge. I hardly ever worked on it upright! This is the largest piece I've ever painted. I'm going to call this one "Desert Hunter". Hope you like it!

Awesome! I like your bird paintings! I noticed you have done at least two Great Horned Owl ones, or have you done more than that? If so, I would love to see them!

Love the action in this painting,it looks as if the hawk is a split second away from taking off,had a look at your other works they all great love your birds,and all the little details.
