News: Adkins Arboretum Art Competition

I was pleased to learn today that my watercolor Red Tail has been juried into the 2010 Adkins Arboretum Art Competition. The theme of the show is: Discovering the Native Landscapes of Maryland's Eastern Shore. Artworks chosen for this exhibition reflect or interpret the wild nature and landscapes of the Mid-Atlantic coastal plain. The exhibit will open Feb 15 and run through March, with a reception on Saturday, Feb 27, 3 - 5 pm.

Adkins Arboretum is a 400-acre native garden and preserve on Maryland's Eastern Shore. To learn more about Adkins Arboretum, visit http://www.adkinsarboretum.org/.
