Have a great Christmas and New Year's Kelly, Jimmy, & Max!From Mike, Paulette, Buddy, Jaxi, & D.Bo!
Kelly, I can't let the year end without letting you know that your painting of the pronghorn antelope saw me totally re-evaluate my approach to painting.Until I saw it, I was using transparent glazes of acrylic paint on sealed watercolour paper, with decent results, but without the degree of control I wanted, or the luxury of being able to redo or adjust areas I was unhappy with. The progress shots of your antelope painting provided the spark for me to return to thicker, opaque paint on gessoed masonite and, as I gradually adjust my process and techniques to suit, I feel I'm making real progress. Thank you for sharing, and Merry Christmas!
Paulette: Hope you had a nice Christmas. Best wishes to you and Mike for the New Year.Peter: Wow...I'm so very flattered! Thank you for sharing this with me. It's nice to know that I was able to help you through this little blog of mine with your approach to painting. My best to you and may you have a wonderful New Year's!
I love your work! It is quite amazing! I look forward to all your 2010 projects!
Noah: Thank you! Many new projects are in the works so stay tuned.
